What moment have you most wished you’d had a camera when you hadn’t? I was using the mind to make pictures before a camera. I was making pictures in space then in the womb. That’s how my mind works. I never felt I was separate from a camera. If anything, photography is an addition to the way my mind makes memories. Photography is deeper to me than it is to most people. I’m not trying to make pretty photos or capture important events. I’m concerned with Light. Photography is my inside joke with God.
