Fjóla works for Mindpower – a recovery centre in Iceland, where people with mental health issues take the lead in their own recovery. As part of her work with Youngminds, the centre’s support group for young people, Fjóla discovered Erasmus+. Through the programme, she was invited to several European youth work conferences. Today, she is project manager for Youngminds, and is currently organising a youth workers’ mobility project to bring European trainers to Iceland.
