In the wake of an explosive new allegation that the CIA spied on Senate intelligence committee staffers, one senator felt this morning that he needed to make something clear.

“The Senate Intelligence Committee oversees the CIA, not the other way around,” Sen. Martin Heinrich (D-N.M) said in a press release.

In normal circumstances, that would have been a statement of the obvious. Today, it was more a cry for help.

The 6,300 page torture report was suppressed for one year in December 2012.

In a bizarre twist of events, the CIA wants to investigate its own people that spied on the politicians that is supposed to oversee the CIA!

Senator Mark Udall, who sits on a CIA oversight committee and whose staff was spied on by the CIA alleges that the CIA surveilled overseeing senators and their staff with Obama’s knowledge and consent.

The CIA has already deleted a lot of the material and destroyed evidence.
