Everyone is familiar with smartphones, smartwatches and even smartglasses. But how often do you come across smartshoes? Not even rarely, and that’s because such a shoe has never existed – until now. No, it’s not the sole majors like Nike, Reebok or Adidas to introduce the world to smartshoes but, instead, an Indian techie duo. A few months back, Krispian Lawrence and Anirudh Sharma embarked on a project to create intelligent footwear to help the visually challenged. Come today, what they have created is the world’s first ever smartshoe, called Le Chal. The shoe is a blend of a smartphone and a navigation device.
