Message from Prime Minister Shinzo Abe:
Having finished the scheduled events at the Nuclear Security Summit, President Barack Obama, President Park Geun-hye, and I held a Japan-U.S.-Republic of Korea trilateral summit.
We confirmed that it is important for our three countries to act in close cooperation to ensure security in East Asia. It was a very meaningful summit indeed.
I felt once again how tremendously important it is to meet with other national leaders and talk with them directly.
I would like to continue to hold dialogues with the Republic of Korea going forward, in order to foster future-oriented relations between our two countries.
