Message from Prime Minister Shinzo Abe:

I met young soccer players who have been actively pursuing this sport in the countries of ASEAN.
At the ASEAN-Japan Commemorative Summit Meeting held in December 2013, I proposed that we hold soccer exchanges. I am extremely pleased that today these have come to be realized.
The player who delivered a few words on behalf of the group talked about his dreams, saying, “I will practice as hard as I can, and in the future I want to be a success playing in the J-League!”
I look forward to these visitors to Japan appearing as the star players in the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
