Famous for its bright lights, roulette wheels, slot machines and cabaret acts, Las Vegas wants to expand its image beyond its casinos, to contemporary art and culture. Despite museum’s having suffered in the past, art curators are still hoping of attracting tourists from the city’s strip. Al Jazeera’s Melissa Chan reports.
