Since 1924, IFA 2014 in Berlin has been showcasing the newest in consumer electronics (CE) and gadgets. Every year, everybody ask the same questions: who has the coolest gadgets and who has the biggest TV? There is usually also an overall theme.

This year, the biggest TV was presented by Chinese TV manufacturer TCL with a 110″ Curved 4K TV [PDF]. This year’s theme was colours. Everything was in colours. Even the washing machines. TCL also showcased a series of coloured TV sets designed for both boys and girls rooms.

TCL markets TV’s under the Thomson brand in countries like France, Germany and Poland, but also under the master brand TCL. They are the number one TV manufacturer in China and in Europe they are most famous for delivering the technology for the innovative partnership with IKEA.
