Less than one year after its launch, the leftwing Podemos movement has become Spain’s leading political force, backed by 27%, a Metroscopia poll in El Pais showed Saturday. The Spanish Socialist Party has 25.5% support while the governing Popular Party, led by Mariano Rajoy, slumped to just 20%.
