Thousands of Iranians have gathered in central Tehran for the funeral of pop star, Morteza Pashaee. Pashaee, who had millions of Persian-speaking fans in Iran and elsewhere, passed away in hospital at the age of 30 after a long battle with cancer. Born in 1984 in Tehran, the singer and composer started learning music at the age of 14. Morteza Pashaei passed away in a Tehran hospital on Friday morning.
