The Japanese prime minister, Shinzo Abe, has arrived in the United States for a week-long visit focusing on trade and defence ties.Abe is expected to become the first Japanese leader to address the US Congress.But his plans to boost military ties with Washington are facing growing opposition in Okinawa, where there’s a major US base.
