States and big corporations are very powerful, but they should be transparent to society and its citizens. It is no news that they have misused the trust of citizens by launching monitoring and surveillance against them. In response to this, we are promoting the “Snowden Treaty”, a pioneer international treaty that produces standards against mass surveillance.
The human rights of individuals to privacy and unnecessary subjection to arbitrary or unlawful interference of private life will be safeguarded. Moreover, it should be internationally recognized that the exercise of the right to privacy is an essential requirement for the realization of the right to freedom of opinion and expression.
So we need the help of all of you who care about the defense of freedom and fundamental rights enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
