Australia’s homeless get free mobile laundry service

The founders of a mobile laundry service for the homeless in Australia say their initiative is a world first.

The two friends who launched the service as a charity in 2014 say they’re not trying to make money. Corporate sponsors and individual donors pay for the service and provide the equipment. The vans are operated by a teams of volunteers.
