The Deputy Chief Medical Officer for England has delivered a stark warning as Covid-19 cases in England have seen a consistent, two-day increase. Prof Jonathan Van Tam pointed to 17-21 year olds as an age group of concern at this point warning that the country needs to take this ‘incredibly seriously’.
