🇨🇳 China’s first self-developed civil airship, the AS700 Xiangyun, completed its maiden trial flight between two airports in central China’s Hubei Province. The flight paves the way for long-distance tests before it eventually enters commercial operation. The airship is expected to aid the development of the country’s low-altitude economy, which refers to a range of industries centering around aerial vehicles operating below an altitude of 1,000 meters.
