Chinese President Xi Jinping visits France for a couple of days and buys Peugeot, orders 70 Airbus planes and 100 helicopters and signs deals for more than 25 billion dollars

Chinese President Xi Jinping has signed scores of business deals with French President Francois Hollande on the second day of a three-day visit. Ordering 70 Airbus planes worth more than $10bn dollars, and investing $1.1bn dollars with the country’s largest carmaker, PSA Peugeot Citroen, Xi signed $25 bn dollars worth of business deals. President Hollande said the deals would bring much-needed growth to the economy. Al Jazeera’s Nadim Baba reports from Paris.
